When I was younger I played Soccer, Football, and Basketball for many years. Although I enjoyed these sports none of them felt like the right fit. When I was in middle school I decided to try running for the Cross County and Track team, and that was it. Off season conditioning leading into Freshman year I realized how supportive a cross country team could be. During Freshman year my commitment to training allowed me to run a 19:28 PR at our regional Cross Country meet. During Freshman Track season I was able to experiment with different events to help me discover what I love. I am exited to see how I can develop and push myself through High School and into College.
Over the course of college, I would like to continue to run and experience professional coaching. I would like to get a great education so I can be successful in the future. I feel I would be a great addition to any team. I thrive on supporting, encouraging, and leading my teammates to become our best selves. Finding an amazing school, team, and coaching staff can help me reach my goals including becoming the best runner I can be. I look forward to learning about all of the amazing opportunities that are available.
