Jakob Dewald '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jakob Dewald. I am an upcoming graduate of the class 2015, and running is my life. On a daily basis I am on the track and I look to continue this regiment into my college career. Off the track I am a high-caliber triathlete. I have been recognized as an All-American for triathlons. I also have been recognized as a two time trail running world champion. Although I have been accomplished in my athletic career so far, I do know that there are improvements to be made and I strive for this during every practice. One of my short term goals is to become the Xterra trail run champion once again in December 2014 and 2015. Another goal of mine is to become a professional triathlete in late 2015 or early 2016. More about myself, I am a runner who prizes hard work and character. I work on these things everyday on an off the track. I also swim and cycle competitively for aspirations of becoming a professional triathlete in my future. As I know becoming a professional athlete does come to an end which is why I am also looking to get a medical-related degree.
