I began running in 2022 following the footsteps of my brother, Andrew who is currently running at the Division 1 level. Prior to taking running seriously I was a multisport athlete. I entered my first race in the summer of 2022 and ran unattached, I began to fall in love with the sport. As a late bloomer, my improvements over the years have been exponential. Just recently, I got in touch with my brother’s former coach, Dave Rowland who saw my potential and was happy to take me on. I am still experimenting with different events, and I am willing to run in any spot I am put in. Here in Manitoba, our track season is very short due to our weather, however that does not stop me from working towards my goals each and every day. I am looking forward for my senior year of track and plan to see some big gains ahead.
Along with my track goals, I have many academic goals as well. I work very hard in the classroom so I can maintain a high average.
