I have been playing softball since I was six years old, and throughout these years have fallen in love with the game. The past three years I have had the honour of being selected to my regions AAA team.
What I bring to a team most importantly is that I am a supportive and encouraging teammate who always tries to bring out the best in everyone. I pride myself on being coachable, and always willing to listen and learn. I’ve had the honour of being selected to the leadership group on a number of the teams I’ve played on.
As a softball player, you will find that my strength is at the plate where I have been a successful hitter. My primary position is in the outfield. I also have spent time catching behind the plate for all the teams I have played for. I am always looking to improve my skills and am dedicated to training both in season and in the off season. I am currently working with a sprinting coach to improve my speed as well as continuing to work with my batting coach.
My academic average is currently 95.8% and I can think of nothing more exciting than the possibility of playing softball at the post-secondary level as I attain my degree.
