2014 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Ben Fisher, I currently attend Winters Mill High School in Westminster, Maryland. I started running track my sophomore year and started to improve in sprinting. I took to it right away and didn't know how much I was going to love it. It has really built up my strength, speed and stamina. I enjoy how much running helps me forget my problems and just concentrate on the run. It has also helped my focus and concentration.
My first year on track I made JV for Indoor and Varsity for Outdoor track. My dreams are to go to States for 4-100 and 4-200 and 100 meter dash. Academically, I am hoping to go to college for Criminal Justice, as I want to eventually become an FBI Agent. I am also interested in the
Air Force as another way to achieve this goal. P.S. I run multiple more events such as the 400m and 4x400m as well.

- AwardsPassed the National French Test and received a certificate. Made advanced Honor Roll two times and made basic Honor Roll six times.
- ActivitiesI helped create the athletic club at my school and it was made for who do not have time to do sports but still want to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We meet every Monday and Friday after school during the school year. Due to track I was unable to attend it so other students ran it. I helped out at my school concession stand during basketball season and helped handle money and give food to customers. Over the summer I helped with a Civil War reenactment thing called NSSA and helped mark targets and made sure that things ran smooth.
