I started running track my 7th grade year at Mashpee middle-high school. I was always the football kid growing up and never considered track until 7th grade but all my friends and coaches told me they think it’s something I would be good at. My 7th grade year I ran a 13.4 100m with that being my spring pr. My 8th grade year I made middle school and varsity states, running a 11.8 getting second in middle school states for Massachusetts and running a 48 second 4x1 in varsity states. My freshman year I only ran one 100m in the season before getting injured, but I ran a 11.5 and jumped an 19’11 long jump before injuring my it band. This is now my sophomore year and i’m looking to have a great year.
