Most of the athletes I compete against have been running for a long period of time. I started running in high school. There was some natural talent, but I have had to work hard for what I have accomplished. My cross country seasons have been plagued by injuries that this past year I found out the issue, and there have been no issues since. I run indoor track and push myself immensely to achieve not just my own personal goals, but to reach the goals of the team for relays. My first year of high school I played baseball, but I’m going to make the transition to outdoor for my last two years. Running is my life and my passion, and I want to continue to do it at the highest level for as long as possible.
