Personal Statement
As someone who has not gotten the chance to experience a full high school distance running career, I am eager to continue to run in college. Running has always been about proving to myself that I'm capable of doing great things and succeeding in whatever I put my mind to. To me, continuing to run outside of high school is about being part of something bigger than myself and being in an environment where I can become a better person all around.
