I have been running competitively since eighth grade when I earned a spot on my school's high school cross country team. After two races, I had the fifth spot on varsity. My experience with running cross country and track has led me to love the sport and I would like to continue running for the rest of high school and in college. I think of myself as a strong athlete but I know that I am not the best runner. Ideally, I would like to run for a division one or two school but academic selectiveness is more important to me than running. I would like to use track and cross country to help me get into a selective college.
