I've always had high standards set for me, as well as the standards I've set for myself! In middle school, I decided I would run track. I have no idea what influenced this. I quickly discovered I was fast, and loved to compete! I quickly fell in love with school sports, completely turning my life around and bettering me as a person, for that's what comes with being a student-athlete. I liked the feeling of knowing I'm getting better as a whole, overcoming obstacles, just trying to be the best of the best. I quickly started getting recognized. Getting this recognition only made me push harder, bringing these qualities with me into the school building, turning in all assignments striving for all A's. Nowadays, I believe highly in my athletics for that's what truly drives me through my day. I put all of my heart into what I do. I'm an above average athlete no doubt, driven every day to get better. Playing 3 consistent sports, football, baseball, and track, really taught me some important life skills, like leadership and commitment. As well as, sacrifices had to be made. I am currently carrying out a great path at my high school. Not only do I constantly want to get better on the field, but I believe in that moral off the field as well. My parents have always kept me on track and pushed me to my best as well as check on me every day, which I'm very fortunate for. I keep a strong focus on my athletics and am very consistent with my academics. I'm willing to sacrifice weekends and activities to rest, work out, do an assignment, and get better, putting most of my time into school and athletics. As for my grades, I believe are beyond up to par. I do believe people look up to me. I attempt to be a leader at my best, I stand out at my school and want nothing more than to see my peers succeed. I've always been told I was born to be a leader. Some goals I have entering my junior year, are discussing with my counselor opportunities in AP weighted classes and dual enrollment classes with our local community college. I believe my qualities, mindset, and athletic capabilities will greatly impact your program!
