Chase Harris '25 Recruiting Profile

My college goals and aspirations are to obtain a bachelor's degree and then to continue on to pursue a degree in Law.  I have always been fascinated with the field of study and I anticipate one day working in my own law firm or even serving as a judge.  

I believe that I am an ideal candidate for your team because I bring several characteristics to the table that can be very valuable.  I'm big on teamwork and encouraging every "part" to do their "part" so that the team can be successful.  We all want to win, but the reality of it is that sometimes we will and sometimes we won't.  When it is all said and done, I will know that I gave it my best effort and I hope to encourage others to to do the same. 

Character is very important and I view my character as one of my strongest assets. I am a Christian and this guides my choices and decisions on a daily basis.  I try to be the person that does the right thing even when no one is watching, because He is watching. I try to lend people a helping hand even when they don't ask.  Athletics is an area in which I also excel, especially in the field of track.  I have made the NC Track and Field Regionals two years in a row and look forward to doing that again this school year.  It is very rewarding as an athlete to go out there day after day and prepare and to reach a goal on game day.  But none of that will matter, if at the end of the road, I haven't obtained my ultimate goal - a degree.  Academics is very important to me and my family.  I've witnessed how excelling in academics can change a persons life for the better.  I've worked hard to maintain a 3.4 GPA throughout high school, while play 3 sports (soccer, bowling and track), officiating recreational soccer games, and being active in church activities. I hope to maintain or even improve my GPA this year.  These traits make me an ideal candidate for your team.
