It is my ultimate goal in life that I will have lived the most out it; that I will have seen and done everything, or at least all I wanted to. More importantly, I want to have everything I did to the best of my abilities and more, above and beyond. It's this ethic that I strive myself to be my best possible self, not only for my sake, but for others too, for I am not bitter or jealous; to me there are only friends and people I have not met. As a cross country and track runner, I have made it my goal to be the best athlete I can be and more. If I am in the sport to get faster, I might as well be in it to be the best. Even if I don't come even close to this, I'll know full and well that I will have done my best and run my heart out. I'd rather fail trying for a lofty goal than to have never tried at all and wondered what could've been. Coaches, read this knowing that it is my dream to be fast and run with the big leagues, but also to be part of a cause greater than me. At my school, I have no real team, yet alone coach, and for two years of high school, had been entirely self coached. I understand the value of initiative and the trials and tribunes it takes to succeed. My goal in a college is to find a team that not only helps but one that I can contribute to as well for a greater goal.
