In 2014 my family moved to Ghana to become missionaries. I was home-schooled by my mother, a former school teacher, for the entirety of this time. In June of 2023, I moved back to the United States to reacclimate to the culture and to reenter the school system before beginning to look for a college. Due to moving back as an incoming senior, I am unable to participate at the varsity level due to WIAA rules. I was only allowed three meets due to those being the only ones available for JV participants. My final meet, which was the first one not held in cold rainy and 30mph headwind conditions, was not timed using FAT. It was a hand-timed event. My videos are evidence of the times I ran. These unfortunate setbacks are only training me to be mentally stronger and more resilient.
My track times and academic grades are evidence of my work ethic. When considering other recruits, please remember how much I will work to bring victory to the team.
