As a Track & Field athlete and student, I am very determined and self driven. I have been told by all of my coaches that I am very coachable and will do and perform anything asked of me in practice and/or class.
I first found my passion for track in middle school where I was bit with the sprinting bug. As a Freshman I had the opportunity to compete at a varsity level, where I had the ability to compete in the Wisconsin State Division 2 Track meet. As a Sophomore I continued to grow and improve in my events. In fact I have increased my 200 meter time to a 22.4 seconds, my 100 meter time to a 11.32 seconds, and and Long Jump distance to 20.1 feet. I am a member of our 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams which both took 1st place in our Sectional Tournament. In my off season I enjoy competing in Football, where I am also on the varsity team as a running back.
Academically I work extremely hard. I am currently maintaining a 3.88 GPA. I am a 2 year Academic Excellence Award winner for maintaining a High Honor Roll level for the last 4 semesters. I am very focused and determined to do my best and put 100% in all of my projects, homework, and tests.
As a College Athlete I look forward competing with the top level athletes and helping my team achieve their goals at each event. I am a firm believer in setting goals for myself and striving to meet and exceed them. As an Athlete and Student I commit to always put a 100% effort in and perform to the best of my ability.
