Personal Statement
I have been competing in swimming for the last five years through the YMCA programs, the last two years it has been through the Winona YMCA Winfins program. This last fall as a Freshman I competed with the OHA HS team. I also compete in the summer with the Trempealeau Youth Sports Swim team. I swim 11 months out of the year and I truly enjoy being the in the water. I enjoy attending stroke clinics and would like to attend more camps and clinics.
This last year I was Rookie of the year for my high school team. And with the Winona YMCA team, I made it to Sectionals and then State, as well the Midwest Regionals Swim meet in Iowa.
Besides swimming, I also participate in with a US Figure skating club and I am part of a water ski team in the summer.
I would love to be able to compete at a collegiate level and hopefully then coach some day.
