Fast and focused distance runner determined to compete at the collegiate level. Earned Varsity spot in Cross Country and Track freshman year, 2-time MVP Cross Country, and All Conference Honorable Mention Cross Country 2019. Consistent academically and member of the Student Athletic Advisory Board for Track, elected as a Sophomore for leadership. Excited to uncover untapped performance with college level coaching.
The most important thing I have learned from my 2 Cross-Country and 1 Track and Field seasons at Wrightstown High School is that no matter how great you think you are at your certain event, you may fall short of your goal, and that's ok. When I missed the WIAA D2 Sectionals meet my freshman year for the 800 by 0.45 seconds it really put me down, but my family, friends and coaches told me that not everything is handed to you, it must be achieved through hard work and grit. that is the same for my sophomore Cross-Country meet for the State Qualifier. i missed my chance at State Cross-Country by 2 slots and 9 seconds. to see that over 2 season i went from a 23:08 and being the 5th and last scorer for my varsity team my freshman year to a 18:38 and the MVP and leading scorer at the end of the season. to now running a 17:26 and yet again MVP and leading scorer. I've also had the best people to influence me and my career. The seniors for the 2019 Cross-Country season have taught me how to be a team player and not so full of myself. It taught me to be a part of the team and that made me a more likable person. They've also taught me that even though you're fast and that you're an underclassman, you have no right to be higher up than the seniors. The 2020 Senior class at Wrightstown High School shaped me to be who I am in both Cross-Country, Track and Field, and as an all around person in general. They've really showed me what they've learned over their long careers. No one can experience the people that I have ran my season with for the past 2 years. now I've personally devoted my Junior Cross-Country and Track and Field seasons to these seniors because they never had the opportunities that I had over the past few years and I want them to always be there by my side to support me throughout my high school career as an athlete.
