Cade Nakao '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Cade Nakao and I am a member of the class of 2021 at Mililani High School on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.  I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA and excel in the areas of math and science.  I aspire to earn (at the very least) a Bachelor's degree while hopefully playing competitive collegiate volleyball.  I am/will be enrolled in AP courses throughout my academic career (Physics, Calculus and Chemistry). I have also taken honors classes (Pre-Calculus and Spanis). I have been a member of my school's Key Club for the past three years which has allowed me to volunteer for various community service activities.  I was fortunate to make my school's varsity volleyball team since my freshman year and started as an outside hitter.

I have been playing club volleyball since I was 12 years old for Spike and Serve Volleyball Club.  Our teams have been highly competitive in the open division and I have enjoyed playing with and against the best players and teams in the nation at all qualifier and national tournaments where we consistently finish in the top 10.

Teachers and coaches describe me as responsible, reliable, respectful, hard working, determined, focused, teachable, and a great student/teammate.  I am looking for a school that will both challenge me and help me grow academically, athletically and as a young man.  I am open to all types of schools; big or small, east or west.
