- AwardsI recently applied for a scholarship for the National Youth Leadership Forum (Engineering) where more than 1 thousand kids applied. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive a big money scholarship because my parents were listed as not low income. However, my essay was spectacular according to the Judges, so they wanted to give me something and I was awarded a $500 scholarship. Given the high cost of the summer program, and even with this awesome scholarship, my parents couldn't afford the tuition. Either way, I'm grateful for the invite and hoping to be able to be part of this program next summer, if God allows.
