Brains over brawn. This is a statement I always like to think before each game I play. Over the years that I played volleyball I have learned that the smarter you are on the court, the more likely you are to win the game. When I'm in a game I always try to be the smartest person on the court and when I make mistakes, I can only learn from them, improving my game. Focus and motivation only add on to my mentality.

Now when it comes to school, academics always come before volleyball. As much as I enjoy volleyball, I don't plan on playing professional which is why it is important for me to focus more on my education than the sport. When I find a school that fits my academic needs along with having a spot on their volleyball team then that would be a dream come true.
