Hi Coaches! My name is Danny Donahue. I am a 14-year-old volleyball player who aspires to play D1 in college. On and off the court I try to have a positive, uplifting, and energetic personality. If a teammate is sad i’ll try to cheer them up. If a teammate is mad at the way they performed i’ll try to help. Volleyball is a team sport. There is no I in TEAM so that’s why I try to make it a priority to not only take care of myself, but to take care of my teammates. I‘ve been playing sports ever since I could walk. I would consider myself to be very athletic. I try to go to the gym, go for runs, and get on the court as much as I can. I do very well academically. I try to maintain a 95 or above over all average all year round and for the majority of the year I do. I try to be involved in school as much as I can. From joining clubs to helping clean up at lunch, I try to always be an active member in my school. When people ask me what I want to be when i’m older the answer has, is, and always will be a volleyball player. I have such a strong passion and love for volleyball that I would love to keep playing after high school at the D1 level.
