My name is Anders Hedenborg and I have truly just fallen in love with volleyball. I have played since I was in 6th grade and I hope to eventually take my passion to the next level and play in college. I have always loved the social aspect of the sport and interacting with others. Especially when they share my same passion and determination. I would say I love to challenge myself and push the limits and set certain goals for myself as an athlete. As I am very focused on myself and what I can do to further enhance my abilities. I feel whenever I have any down time and I start to get lazy its a missed opportunity to be getting better and to be training. I am fully plant based and gluten free because I have found I play better when I am on this diet and I will do anything to maximize my play on the court. A few good qualities I have are determination and being motivated to get things done, alone with having patience. I also love growth and change and my number one goal is pushing myself to the max for every point on the court. I also am currently training 6-7 times a week with a mix of vertical training, lifting and volleyball private lessons and am striving to improve my game in every way.
