Anders Hedenborg '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anders Hedenborg and I have truly fallen in love with volleyball. I have played since I was in 6th grade and I want to take my passion to the next level and play in college. I have also enjoyed the social aspect of the sport and interacting with others. Especially when they share my same passion and determination to play hard. I love to challenge myself and I am always setting goals for myself as an athlete. In college, with focused coaching and training, I want to further enhance my abilities. I am focused on eating a healthy diet of lean proteins and I am dairy/gluten free. I have found I play better when I am on a focused nutrition plan and I will do anything to maximize my play on the court. In terms of some of my strengths, I tend to be very focused and determined whether that is with school or volleyball. I am willing to do the work and be pateint enough to get the results. My number one goal is pushing myself to the max for every point on the court. I also am currently training 4-5 times a week with a mix of vertical training, weight lifting and volleyball private lessons.
