I am Anders Hedenborg and one of my favorite things in life is volleyball. I am looking to study Business and really gain as much experience in that work feild as possible. I love people and find myself very interested in everyones uniqueness. I am a strong competitor across the net and strive for the best. I am very aware that the best is not always possible, but my efforts should always align with what is closest to the best. I am also super competitive both on and off the court. I am looking to have a great academic career as well as continue to pursue volleyball as a passion. To me both of these aspects are crucial. I believe that I stand out when compared to a group of athletes. I am a passionate, hardworking, dedicated young individual. I live for competition and it drives me to work harder and study longer. I love a good challenge and if these aspects sound like something that would be a fit for your program then I would love to talk more.

Yes. I take all honors classes and a few Dual Enrollment courses. They consist of Honors Math, Honors English, Honors Chemistry, Dual Enrollment US History, and Dual Enrollment Spanish. I plan to keep up this rigorous schedule for senior year so the transition to college will flow smoother.Are you in AP/IB classes?

YesAwards and Activities
- AwardsI have maintained all A's throughout all of high school while still keeping a challenging, and rigorous course schedule. I am involved in NHS and plan to run for Student council student representative for my class. In maintaining all A's I have been on the Honor Roll every single semester.
- ActivitiesI love serving and giving up my time for others. I have participated in a love week at my school where we go share God's love to the people in our community who may not know him. I also recently went on a mission trip to Kenya in Africa and served alongside the organization open eyes. I met so many amazing people and this was life changing. I have also completed an internship with a very experienced coach, and coached alongside her for a varsity level team. I completed around 60 out of the 50 required hours and since I want to pursue this as a passion later in life found it very rewarding to see all the teaching pay off in certain moments. To add to this I went to Guatemala to serve the community and we built houses for two less fortunate families. I was really glad to go on this trip and really immerse myself into their culture.
