Josie Shearer '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I’m Josie Shearer, I am an outside hitter and DS from South Carolina! I play on the Arborbrook Christian Academy varsity team in North Carolina. I am naturally athletic, a natural leader, confident, and have a 4.6 GPA! I have also competed and won in the Fine Arts competitions through my church competing in piano classical and solo, percussion, photography, and T-Shirt design where I have placed second in the nation, and 2 merits in state. I have been playing numerous sports since I was young, such as soccer, basketball, gymnastics, and volleyball. Volleyball has always been my main sports thus having my sister as a setter and my mom as a coach and a setter in high school. I can play any position possible in volleyball including RH, OH, DS, middle, libero, and setter. Along with my academic life, i have been taking honor classes through my high school with the addition of Duel Enrollment classes my junior year through Ocean County College.
