Grace Godfrey '21 Recruiting Profile

Playing sports has shaped all parts of my life and who I am today. Playing softball in a small town in Alaska is not the most competitive, and we do not have the resources to play softball year-round, however the adversity we face every day has taught me hard work, dedication, resiliency, and leadership. Softball has also taught me that it is okay to fail, and the only way to learn and improve is by failing better the next time. I am very coachable and am always willing to learn, while also being competitive and striving for excellence. I have always been a leader of my team, and I try to be a strong leader by leading with actions more often than words. I am looking for a college where I can challenge myself academically, while still providing a good fit athletically. I believe I can play softball at the collegiate level and I know I can bring important work ethic and leadership skills to your team!
