To Whom it may concern,
Hi, my name is Leanor “Lea” Tapia, and I am a left-handed pitcher who loves softball. I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old. I would like to continue playing at a college level. I’m currently a sophomore at Adolofo Camarillo High School, in Camarillo, CA. I was moved up to varsity at the end of my freshmen year, where I had the opportunity to pitch competitively in both league games and CIF playoff games. I am also playing for a premier travel softball team “Athletic Mercado RC16U” in Southern CA. I have many great qualities that would make me a good candidate for your team. Some of the qualities I possess are work ethics, hardworking, being disciplined, dependable, responsible, team player and respectful. I put my education first. It is important to me to upkeep my grades along with maintaining time for softball. The hard work and time I put into improving my pitching skills, I equally if not more put the efforts into preparing for classes and studying. My goal is to play at a competitive level at your university and to focus on taking courses that will prepare me for my future job.
Thank you for your Consideration,
Lea Tapia
