Personal Statement

My name is Kylan Dickerson, and I am a very dedicated and hardworking softball player. I am a current junior at Fruita Monument High School and I have played on the varsity softball team as a starting shortstop and second-basemen for my freshman, sophomore and junior year. I also play on an 18u competitive team called Colorado Angels- Hutton 18 gold as a primary shortstop and second-basemen, but also as a utility player.

Some of my accomplishments contributing to my softball career include being chosen for the first team all conference award and the Les Schwab Tire Centers Academic Team Championship Award my sophomore year. I am also a current National Honors Society Member

When it comes to choosing colleges, I would be open to any school that is looking for a 2020 graduate, and I’m also looking for a school that fits me best. When it comes to majors, I am extremely interested in the medical field (sports medicine). I also have an interest for legal studies and criminal justice. My main goal as a college athlete is to give my very best effort in everything I do, and to make a good impact on the sport, my coaches, and my teammates.
