Montunique Van Staden '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Montunique Van Staden, but most people call me  Monty. I will be graduating 2022. My primary position on the softball field is second base, however I am a very versatile athlete. I am always their for my team on and off the field. I started playing softball when I was five years years old and have been playing for the Key West Lady Conchs travel softball team since I was eight years old. During my time of being on a travel team. My team and I have won three State Championships. In recent years it has come to my realization on how much I love the game of softball and that I want to hold on to it as long as possible. While softball is very important to me. I strive in my academics as well. I have gotten many awards in school for my work ethic and dedication.
