TV Productions
What classes I was in- I was on the Morning production/ announcement team, and in the film class.
Where I went- I went to California for a film competition. We won second place in news broadcaster section, and honorable mention for short films.
What did I do- I ran the daily Elementary school morning announcements, as well as the Middle school morning announcements. I also edited most videos through the film class which was separate from the morning production film team
What did I run for the morning shows- I did the sound board for 4 different Mics, ran the teleprompter, and the switching between screens and cameras. Before the show even began I was the first one to show up and set up the cameras, soundboard, and make sure teachers could get our signal to their classrooms. I was also the last one to leave because I shut everything down. I basically ran the whole show by myself, which I loved.
Privileges- I got to teach the elementary kids how to use the audio board and how to run the cameras.

What have I done
I have recently been doing water testing for FAU, under Dr. Brian Lapointe. Dr. Lapointe is a professor with the FAU Harbor branch where we helped dissect urchins. He also is head of the Marine Biology program at FAU, and works at MOTE Marine Laboratory and is currently doing a study on sea grass.
Where have I been
Puerto Rico- In Puerto Rico our mission was to study the different healthy corals from what we have at Looe key and in the Keys. We made comparisons with corals that are either extinct in our reefs or are almost never found. We also were looking for coral bleaching among the corals at two different dive sights. During this time we had a film crew following us and keeping track of our finds. They will have a new documentary called “Saving the coral reefs” coming out to Netflix with my dive group featured in it.
Florida Atlantic University, Harbor Branch- Our trip to Harbor branch was 2 days. The first day we met with the _____ During dinner we talked about the water flow affecting the waters of lake Okeechobee. The second day we helped with the process of dissecting urchins and recording the data.
