My name is Ruthie Allen, and I am a Catcher/Outfield Utility player looking for a new opportunity for my Sophomore season. I played at Carson-Newman University as a Freshman, and I am looking to compete for a roster spot on a Division I or II team next season. I am looking for a hands-on coaching staff who will push me and help me be the best version of myself. I am a hard worker on the field and in the weight room. I take criticism well and crave transparency from my coaches. I love taking charge of the field at Catcher, but I am willing to play anywhere on the field that will help the team. I have speed and a strong arm, so I feel at home in the Outfield as well.
My academics come first, so I need a program with a well established Exercise Science or Pre-OT degree as I am working toward a career in Occupational Therapy. I would like to stay within driving distance of North Georgia, but I am open to any opportunity where I can develop and make a positive impact on a program.
Prior to my Freshman year at Carson-Newman, I played A level Travel ball with East Cobb Bullets and Atlanta Premier organizations. I am still eligible to play 18U, so you might find me at a tournament with EC Bullets Stephens this summer. Please take time to visit my website to learn more about me.
