Hi my name is Nichole Kiddy. I am in my Junior year (c/o 2021) at Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake IL. I believe in setting goals for myself and to work hard at achieving those goals. Going to a great college and playing softball at the next level is something I have been working towards.
I always give my best at school and in sports to improve and see the results of my hard work. At Prairie Ridge I have had a lot of opportunities to get involved in sports with softball and volleyball, but also in other activities like National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Class Officer and Med Club. These things have allowed me to meet new people and contribute to the culture and environment of my school. I also started my first real job recently, which has been fun.
Throughout my life so far, my family has been the most important thing to me. It is them that supports me, teaches me and influences who I am as a person. My little sister Adysen pushes me to be my best self and to always be kind, so I can be the best influence for her. My parents encourage me to work hard and follow my dreams. Because of my work ethic and support from my family, I am able to go after things, big or small, with confidence in who I am and in my abilities. I know that with dreams and goals comes taking chances and making tough choices, but with my family in my corner I will always have support.
In softball, high school and travel, I think that the best thing you can do for your team is to be a good teammate. This is true in working hard in practice, staying positive and sticking together in tough times. I am proud that my accomplishments and statistics help the team be successful, but being a good teammate is something that I personally take pride in and think means a lot.
