     It has always been a dream of mine to pursuit college after high school.  Continuing to play softball in college seems to be the natural next step towards achieving my goals of working in the field of athletics and fitness.  I have always been passionate about playing softball as I have been playing since I was five years old.  The thrill of the game, the competition, and the love for the sport has been my motivation.  What makes me different from other recruits is not only do I believe I am a talented, versatile player, but I have the characteristics of an amazing team player. I understand that as a pitcher, I must command the field and allow my team to support me.  My determination and perseverance has lead my team to many positive outcomes.  In addition to this, when we have been down, I have been dedicated to supporting my team to continue to work hard and do our best.  Also, when I play first base or am up to bat, I know that I want my team to be able to count on me to perform to my best ability.  For all these reasons, I believe that I am an excellent candidate for your team.
