September 2018Personal Statement
I am currently a senior at Bellingham High School in Massachusetts where I will be graduating in 2021. I play winter track and varsity softball and soccer for my school.
In college, I wish to play softball because that is the sport I am most passionate about because it is fun and very competitive. From batting to fielding, I have loved softball ever since I started when I was 5. I believe I am a unique player for many reasons; one being that I am a slapper with fast speed and smart base-running. I have been slapping for over 7 years and play all positions in the outfield while commonly playing center field.
For my studies in college, I am extremely interested in Science with a focus on Psychology. In school, I am in Honors and AP classes and play trumpet for my school band. I am a solid “A” student and strive to do my best in each class. For hobbies, I am an avid reader, write short poems, and knit crafts. I also am in the National Honor Society where I volunteer to help the community at school and church.
By having the honor of gaining an education at a great college while also playing softball, I could help out the team, grow from the leadership of the coaching staff each day, and create a great environment for myself in college.

- 2018 camp. NECSA offered a unique camp and clinic experience for high school varsity athletes who want to play softball in college as the Academy is organized and directed by college coaches. The coaches from Babson College, Middlebury College and Wesleyan University are the owners and directors while coaches from other highly academic schools in the NESCAC and the NEWMAC were also on staff.
