Karina Killelea '22 Recruiting Profile

Softball has always been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I fell in love with the game from the moment I stepped out on to the field and, ever since then, softball has taught me so much about myself as a player and as a person. I have learned how to overcome difficult obstacles I am faced with, how to pick myself and my teammates up during good and bad games, how to learn and improve from my mistakes, and most importantly how to be a part of a team. Additionally, softball has taught me the value in leadership, commitment, and teamwork.

I wish to pursue my academic and softball career at a college that allows me to balance my higher education and passion for softball. What separates me from other recruits is my dedication, intensity, and eagerness to improve. My love for the game is what drives me in each and every play. I believe that I have the talent, character, and work-ethic to make a positive impact on your program!
