What I love about playing the game, it doesn’t matter where I am put in the field, I will play my best and my hardest. I’m also a very loud player, so I try to get my team as fired up as I can and make the game fun for everyone. I also try to help my teammates out as much as I can. I feel that I do my best when I play with older girls because I love a challenge. Nothing comes easy, you have to put in the work to get better and achieve your goals. I consider myself an athletic person. I do gymnastics and volleyball on top of softball. Gymnastics and softball are year round for me which keeps me busy, but I enjoy every minute of it . But I keep a good balance between sports and school. I was in student council and chamber singers my 8th grade year of middle school. Mostly honor classes through my freshman, sophomore, and junior year.
I remember when my dad had first asked me if I want to play AAU and I had never really thought about it before. But when I first stated to play, it showed me a whole new understanding of the game. AAU was a great way to meet new people, learn, and share our knowledge about the game. And the more and more I played the more I fell in love with the game.
I have learned so much about softball in the past couple years of playing AAU and have gained a much better understand of the game from my start playing on my town teams. I have the best time when I am out playing on the field or at a softball game. There is no better place in my mind and I enjoy every second of it. Softball truly makes me happy in every way, I couldn't imagine my life without it. It is not only a sources of happiness for me but it is a way to get to meet new people who also share a love for the game as much as I do.
