I am a Senior at New Covenant Academy (NCA), a Christian College Preparatory School. I'm the Team Captain for my school team (Warriors). I made 1st Team 2023 All-District and 1st Team All-Region Infield. I’ve been awarded the team MVP 2 years in a row. I’ve been playing softball since I was 9 years old and loved it since Day 1! I started playing softball because of my sister. She played in college as a OF/Slapper. My primary position is shortstop but I am also a Utility player. I started as a catcher and still love it! I am the current HR record holder and also hold the Javelin record for my school.
NCA is a Christian College Preparatory School. All NCA core classes are honors classes. I’ve been a student at NCA since Jr. Kindergarten. Ultimately, my goal is to continue to work hard academically while being the best version of myself for my team on the field. I strive to be the hardest and smartest worker on the field.
I want to attend a college that has a close community, great business program, and a stellar softball team. Being part of a team has given me countless friendships and I look forward to adding to those friendships while playing the sport that I love.
Softball has taught me hard-work, discipline, giving me stamina and perseverance and shown me what it means to be a team player.
I didn’t start at shortstop, but it’s what I have fought for and the position I love. I was a utility player and when the shortstop position became available, I went for it and that’s where I’ve been as my primary role ever since. I love a challenge and I am all about the TEAM so I will work no matter where the coach puts me on the field.
My ultimate goal after getting through college and graduating with a degree in Business Management is to start a business that is focused on training young athletes physically and mentally. This is something that I am passionate about. I want the young athletes to be prepared for their Student/Athlete journey. Preparing them for and making sure they have access to good coaching in case a speed bump comes along the way and how to successfully deal with that circumstance. After college I would like to go back to my high school to coach the Warriors softball team.
