My name is Isabella Pondrom. I am heavily involved with my school and many clubs and extra curricular activities. When I am not focusing hard in the classroom I’m working hard on the softball field. I am a right handed pitcher for the class of 2021 from Waynesville High School in Missouri. Along with pitching I also play 1st base, and have played 3rd base, and corner outfield. During the summer, I play in tournaments every weekend and play in league games on Thursday nights. When I am not playing, I am practicing every night and going to hitting and pitching lessons. Every morning I attend Waynesville’s strength training program and the softball practices. Softball has really affected the person I am today. It has shown me that most tasks take a team, and one person can not carry the team to a victory. I have made many new lifetime friends and bonds. Softball has not only taught me how to be a better person and how to carry myself, but to not be afraid of failure.
