2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Elizabeth Greco and I am currently a junior at Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, New York. I am a strong, athletic softball player, and my primary position on the Capital District Fusion team is third base. I can also play outfield, and I have played second base, as well as shortstop. I am a coachable utility player, and I am comfortable with playing almost every position on the field. I especially love playing third base, and I can defend my position well. I work very hard on and off the field, and I love when the hard work pays off in games. I also love playing with my friends, and contributing to our teams success through fielding, and hitting.
One of my goals is to play in college while receiving a good education, and I plan on doing this by continuing to train hard. Even in the off-season, I do a combination of strength training, conditioning, hitting, and fielding 6 days a week. Equally important to excelling on the field, is excelling in school. I have taken several honors classes in high school, as well as some challenging AP classes. Even with these tough classes, and softball, I am able to maintain a 4.0 GPA, and my class rank is currently 26 out of 796. School has always been a big part of my life, and a big part of who I am. I always put in my best effort in the classroom, as well as on the field, as I constantly try to improve my skills for the team, and improve who I am as a person.
