October 2017 Personal Statement
I am a three sport athlete with softball as my main focus. When I am not on the diamond, I participate in varsity basketball and varsity field hockey. Softball has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl; I can't imagine life without it. I train year round with former Florida Marlins batting coach Matt Raleigh in his indoor facility. I also train year round with a strength trainer at my local gym Synergy Athletics. My team is very important to me, and I will support them on and off the field. Just as softball is important to me, grades are just as important. I challenge myself by taking honors classes and I have continuously achieved the honor roll. I participate in Girls Varsity club, which supports female athletics, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) club, and Spartan Mentoring with elementary school students. I am excited to pursue my academic and athletic career at the next level.
