Personal Statement

Hi! I am known as "Nae" to coaches and teammates.  Growing up, I was always surrounded by sports and fell in love with the competitiveness of the game of softball and taking my performance to the next level. I started playing travel softball at 9 y.o. and started to pitch around the age of 12. I am a 3-sport scholar athlete at my high school and compete on my travel softball team year around. As I gained years of experience, I learned that the relationship between a coach and a player is one of the most important things to me and my athletic career. I believe I have struck gold with my personal coaches that I work with outside of practice and am very appreciative to all my coaches that have put in their time to make me the player I am today. I am open minded and coachable; I strive to learn and grow with every practice and/or game I attend. I am a great team player and am a firm believer that a strong team bond will take you a long way. Along with my skill level, being coachable and a team player, I believe that my ability to compose myself during high pressure situations is what separates me from other players. When I am on the mound, I love to be challenged, it brings excitement, passion and really amps up the atmosphere of the game. As competitive as I am on the field, I am just as competitive in the classroom. I have held a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and stand 2nd overall in my class. I am also taking a CTE criminal justice class where I rank top of my class and will earn college credits. Through this class I will be certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, Narcan Administration and Stop the Bleed. I am looking to major in the criminal science field, my dream job is to work for the FBI. I look forward to continuing my education while challenging myself in the classroom and on the diamond.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
