Hi, my name is Cameron Nagel. I attend Gowanda Central School. I am looking to attend college where I can major in Education and continue my softball career. Softball has been a major part of my life and has taught me life skills including dedication, teamwork, leadership, accountability, and a strong work ethic. I apply these same principles in the classroom. It has given me confidence to take college level courses and pushes me to succeed in them. Softball has led me to make connections with coaches and players that not only inspire me, but encourage me to keep learning and improve my skills. I enjoy being part of a team because the friendships eventually become like family. Coming from a small high school, I like the cycle of being the youngest on my team and learning from my peers to now being the oldest and passing on the same knowledge. Through school softball I have learned the importance of being able to play multiple positions. The drive I have for softball constantly motivates me to do my best and keep trying in my everyday life and encourages me to pursue education and softball at the college level.
