Winning sectionals my sophomore and junior year of high school softball was an amazing experience. However, I feel like I grew the most my freshman year when I wasn't a starter. it allowed me to focus specifically on what I needed to do to improve and helped me to acquire starting positions my sophomore and junior year and hold the title of a section champion.
Playing softball helped me learn from a young age that to be able to contribute to a team involves a significant amount of sacrifice. I also learned that through hard work, success can be obtained as well as the value of teamwork, commitment, and leadership. I am looking for a college that will fit me well athletically and academically. I know I have the talent, qualities, and skills to compete on a college team and I believe I have the ability to be an important asset to your program.
