My name is Madison Ansari and I am a point guard/shooting guard from Franklin Academy. I started getting acquainted with basketball around the age of 5. At my brother's practice I would go shoot on the mini hoop in the corner. Ever since then I have had a love for the game. I have strong aspirations to play at the college level. Academically I strive to always perform to my best. As for college, I want to go somewhere where I can push myself academically and as an athlete. I am also a part of many extracurricular activities such as; Epsilon, National Honor Society, Class Officer and Spanish Club. Along with playing basketball, I also play varsity soccer and I run track. I have learned through basketball that there will be people who doubt and hate, but I have to use that as motivation. Growing up I was constantly around sports which has led to my competitiveness and my constant desire to get better. Along with my ability to move through the defense, shoot beyond the arch, and throw passes through the defenders, I welcome feedback from coaches and instructors, and I always have a smile on my face. I want to be a part of something special if I am given the chance to play college basketball.
