Julia Hernandez '27 Recruiting Profile

Hey, I have been playing softball since 8th grade. When I first stepped on the field, I knew I’d continue to grow a stronger love for the sport every time I play. I have always been determined to be my best and play at an advanced level. Playing softball in college would be a life changing opportunity that I hope to experience.

 I have definitely learned a lot playing softball. For example, how much control I have of my mind and how I can affect others like my teammates. I’ve learned to never let a bad game disrupt the happiness this sport brings me, or my teammates. I always try to keep the team’s energy up even if it’s not our best game.

 Academically, I work hard to keep my grades the best they can be and maintain a high average. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the softball field. I will always go the extra mile to achieve my goals. I hope to make my family proud, and become a great role model for my younger sibling and my peers.
