Kymora Wang '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Kymora Wang and though I have played many different sports over the years, softball is what captured my heart. I began playing when I was 6 years old on a town rec t-ball team. But it wasn't until a few years later I decided to started pitching and began thinking seriously about playing in college. My ultimate goal  is to work in the field of Neurobiology/Neurosurgery, during my college journey my goal is to get the best education possible, while playing the sport I love with girls who will become family. I play ball every chance I get, whether for my school team, my travel team, subbing for another team or playing catch in the backyard with my family. While I have never had a naturally fast fastball, I put a lot of movement on the ball and good location of the pitch. I have worked hard to become a leader, both on and off the field and I try to always be the first to the field and the last to leave the field. Softball has given me so much and taken me to many places already, I can't wait to see where it takes me in the future. Softball is in my blood and I wouldn't have it any other way.
