Personal Statement

I am a student athlete who gives my all and then some. I believe in making things happen whether it is putting the ball in play, diving to make a play, or encouraging those around me. I'm go with the flow and have a tendency for balanced emotion on the mound and at the plate. My strongest asset is that it's never been all about "me", it's been all about "us". Practice like you play and love practice. I make a habit to get the "other stuff" out of the way: school work, etc so I can enjoy the sport.

Much of the game is surrounded by what happens when the pitch leaves the mound. As I continue to practice, grow, and increase my speed, I take charge of games with my accuracy. My pitching coach often jokes that it isn't enough anymore for her to ask me to throw strikes during assessments, and that she needs to specify spots to challenge me.
