Collegiate Goals and Aspirations:
In order to obtain a more fulfilled future in this journey called life it is essential for students to plan their college career, and ultimately the rest of their lives, without even knowing if the chosen college and/or career will be an option for them. However; I am in the process of forming a foundation, in which colleges will deem attractive and desirable through my academic success, successful athletic experiences and positive social networking skills with others to prove I can be an asset to their school academically, to their sports program, and also to their school community. My collegiate aspirations and goals include attending a college in which my foundations will be built upon to instill a continued craving for knowledge in the field of criminal justice and/or the medical field. I also hope to be challenged academically and athletically, in order to move beyond my potential to become the best at the profession I choose to embrace, as well as the game of softball. I also hope to extend my social circle with people who I can consider to be more like family than friends, or acquaintances. There are numerous things I have to offer a college in terms of my character as well as my academic and athletic abilities.
I am a unique individual in many aspects of the word. I am motivated to reach my fullest potential at everything I perceive as important, not just to myself, but to the lives of others as well. I work diligently to prove that I am coachable, open-minded and versatile. I am willing to try anything once if it seems that it will have a positive effect on myself, and anybody else involved to include my team, my coach, and my support group. I encourage others to try to reach their fullest potential as well through modeling positive leadership, encouragement, and support. I have a positive attitude towards life in general, and believe that goals are attainable if you're willing to work and sacrifice some things to reach them. I am humbled by any achievement that lends itself to me being recognized individually, as superior to others, in the sense that I believe it takes a team effort from many people in order to be successful. For example, if an award is given for an outstanding display of athleticism, I am grateful to receive this honor but, I didn't achieve this feat alone as many coaches, and teammates have helped me become who, and how, I am today.
I am hoping that while attending a four-year college, I maintain the status of an A/B student-athlete, to ensure that I am getting the best "training" for my life after college. I hope to be in the "plan" of a college's future that can offer me the most positive and fulfilling experience in regards to academics and athletics throughout my college career.
Respectfully,
Alexis
