I am currently a junior at West Brunswick High School, Shallotte, NC. As a sophomore, I was a member of the 2019 Varsity softball team and a member of the fall 2018 JV volleyball team. In regular season play, I led the starters with a .361 BA, a .466 OBP, and a .941 OPS. I was also 7-0 pitching with an ERA of 2.21, 46 strikeouts, and 21 walks for the regular season. I made All-area first team 2019. In addition to softball, I played volleyball at the Junior Varsity level. I have played volleyball, track and field, basketball, golf, and softball at the middle school level, but have chosen to concentrate diligently on softball my last two years of high school. I am a very sports-minded student, a team player, and play to win. I am also a member of the Carolina Flames Elite 18U team and have played travel softball for the past 8 years.
Even though participating in sports is a major part of my school career, education plays an even greater role. I am currently dual enrolled in the College and Career Promise program at Brunswick Community College and have a 4.25 GPA and a member of the National Honors Society. My collegiate goal is to attend college majoring in sports medicine/physical therapy and become a member of a collegiate softball team. A career in sports medicine/physical therapy would give me the opportunity to work in a field that would keep me involved in helping individuals in the sports arena.
Would I be a good fit for your team…ABSOLUTELY! In addition to giving it my all, I listen, I am respectful to my coaches and team, comprehend directions, and apply those directions to the game. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I know I would be a great asset to your team!
