I am a lifelong softball player with 11 seasons under my belt. I am 5'2", 120#, but don't let that fool you; I work hard everyday to be the best player I can be. I am supportive of my teammates and always willing to offer words of encouragement. I am goal driven and detail oriented in life and on the field.
I am a versatile and coachable player, with experience infield and outfield. I have most recently been playing middle infield, but have previous experience at 3rd base. I am also a very aggressive base runner with quick feet and I'm not afraid to get in the dirt and slide for a steal.
During my freshman season 2018-2019 I was a Varsity starter (where I played infield, outfield and was a relief pitcher); unfortunately I moved after this season and due to UIL rules (even after applying for a waiver with UIL) I was unable to play at the Varsity level during my Sophomore season.
During the 2019-2020 season, I was awarded the Silver Slugger award; and over that same summer I also participated in the USSSA Southern Nationals tournament in Plano, TX ; playing with Black Widows 18u (unfortunately after this tournament our coach decided to retire and I am now shopping for a new select team to begin play Spring/Summer 2021). I also added Athletic Training to my athletic portfolio during this school year; as this will help prepare me for my choice field of study in college as I aspire to become a physical therapist.
As of the 2020-2021 school year I have now added powerlifting to my athletic portfolio and qualified in my first season for the regional powerlifting meet in the 123# weight class. (240/125/260) I am a rotational starter on my high school's varsity squad and am playing mostly outfield, but on occasion have been in at 2nd base. I am also actively playing with Texas Shock 18u (Garcia), I primarily play short stop and 2nd base and lead the batting rotation. I will be participating in several select tournaments, camps and combines throughout the summer and fall this year (please see events listed in my information).
