My name is Arisa Lemelle, my passion for the game began at an early age, due to a great coach who focused on the fundamentals. My mom had me young, giving up her youth and the game she loved. Through these years softball has given us so much and to play on the next level would just be continuation of that. I would love to stay in my home state if the opportunity presents itself, but I know the sacrifices my mom has made has open doors to attend school out of state and possibly be part of some of my favorite programs. I have long been a student athlete and with my mom's added coaching schedule this has allowed me to be independent and solely responsible for my academic achievement. In this independence I have excelled academically with no set backs. Supporting my teammates is what adds to my game, if they are doing well, then this means I am doing well. I have learned that its not always about being in the game, but understanding those who take the field are the right choice in those moments. If a coach shows their trust and belief in me, I give them hundred percent with no doubts. One of my coach's would say "I'll give you everything I've got, if you give me everything you've got." It is this simple philosophy that has shaped the way I play, approach my coaches, teammates and the game. This game has shown me who I am and how to handle myself, among various individuals.
