My passion is playing basketball. Even when the season ends, I am ready to work on my shot, develop a new move and perfect my free throws. I have had to overcome adversity in my high school career as I will have my fourth coach in 4 years of playing varsity high school basketball next season. I don't let things I can't control affect my play or the way I handle myself. I make the best of the coaching transitions and have actually learned a little something from each and every coach I have had.
I have a great family, my parents and older sister are very supportive and they have great faith in me. I love being part of a family on the court with my teammates as well. I want a teacher as well as a coach because I want to keep learning and developing my knowledge in the game of basketball. I am looking for a program that has a solid foundation and is working to reach new levels of achievement in the college game. It would be pretty amazing to be able to play college basketball!
My favorite classes include Spanish, Biology and math. I have been on the last three Honor Rolls. Getting a job that interests me would be my dream after college, maybe in coaching or teaching but I am still trying to figure that out! Outside of school and basketball I love to spend time with family and friends. I like to go to the movies with friends and out to dinner with my family.
I am the 2014 "Touching Through Athletics" Award Winner for showing sportsmanship, utmost respect for the opponent and commitment to academic responsibility. Only a handful of winners received this award in Colorado in 2014. It was given by Touching Hearts Through Athletics Award,Org. I am also the 2013-2014 Dakota Ridge "Heart of an Eagle Award" winner for the Lady Eagles Basketball Varsity Team.

- AwardsDenver Nuggets Skills Challenge State Champion 2011 Age Bracket 13-14 The event had over 5000 contestants combined for all of the age brackets male & female.
- ActivitiesLink Leader for the school years 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 Dakota Ridge HS for incoming freshman class. My high school selected one of my graphic design projects from last year to be the official poster for the 4th Annual Dakota Ridge Community Fall Festival on September 7, 2013. It is the biggest fund raiser and social event for the DR Community. The poster is all over school and there is a large banner at the entrance of our school property. I was selected to be part of SWOD (Super Women of Dakota) to help create events and support the school activities outside of sport for the upcoming 2015-2016 school year.
