Aloha my name is Kylie Bagay. I am currently a senior at Mililani High School. I have been playing basketball for about seven years, basketball has shaped my character as a student and an athlete in many different ways. As a student, I know that it is my responsibility to work hard and stay on task to reach my goals. When I am on the court I am determined to work and play hard and do the small things as I was taught, and to be an athlete who is coachable when a coach needs a player to go to work. I am not a selfish player because I am more open to plays that get easy buckets rather than doing my own thing. I have realized when I step onto a basketball court I do not only play for myself, but I play for my family, my school, and represent the team I am playing for. I like to have fun with my team, but it is more fun when we push each other to work hard at the same time. We all have our own goals, but when I think about mine I know how much and how far I have to go to reach it. As a 5’3 120lbs. Shooting Guard/Point Guard from Hawaii, I am willing to work hard and show what I got on the basketball court.
